I went to watch a soccer game between Gent and Roma along with Luca, Christopher and Vincent. We were later joined by Jerome, Michael and Luca’s friend Mattia. Thanks to Christopher for giving us a ride in his Audi.

The stadium was filled with 80% Gent fans and the rest with Roma fans. Luca and his friend being Roma supporters had to sit with us, among Gent supporters, so they couldn’t cheer to any goals scored by Roma nor boo to any fouls made by Gent

The game started with lots of fouls and cards given to Gent. Francesco Totti converted the free kick into a goal for Roma at 35th min. The game then went on without any goals being scored till the half time. After the half time, Roma scored 2 more goals, one at 56th min by Totti and another at 58th min by Daniele De Rossi. At 64th min Roma got a penalty kick, Totti converted this kick into another goal. 10 mins later Daniele De Rossi scored another goal. Tim Smolders finally scored Gent’s first goal at 78th min. Finally to end the game Jeremy Menez and Stefano Okaka scored a goal each to put the final scores at: Roma 7 and Gent 1.

Overall it was good game and we were fortunate to see 8 goals scored and Roma’s Totti scoring an hatrick.
